Iedda is a base for lamp, made and painted entirely by hand by Apulian ceramist master.
The shape is that of the ancient terracotta container that the farmers brought with them to the fields to keep the water fresh.
Its amphora shape, with a pot-bellied base, a narrow neck, a slightly wider mouth and two side handles, evokes a feminine, familiar and reassuring silhouette.
The minimal and elegant design is enhanced by the contrast between the material base left in terracotta and the colored top, smooth and shiny.
